Abby is an Organisational Development specialist, supporting teams and individuals reach their potential. As a Counselling Psychologist, Abby provides performance coaching to leaders throughout our partnering organisations, from front line managers to senior executives. She takes a solution-focussed approach to performance coaching, drawing on her expertise in emotional intelligence to build self-awareness, resilience and influencing capacity in individuals. Prior to creating Veraison, Abby worked for 7 years in the area of Trauma and Critical Incidence Response and continues to work with organisations to best support the overall Fitness and Mental Health of employees.
Previously a manager of Organisational Development at WA’s largest privately owned corporate psychology firm, Abby has a unique understanding of the importance of developing internal leadership capability. She has developed and delivered custom designed transformational leadership programs for Brightwater Care Group, the City of Melville and Silver Chain RDNS. As a trained mediator, Abby has also worked with teams across a range of industries to resolve conflict, openly discuss issues and ultimately overcome barriers to high performance. The highlights of Abby’s career involve working with individuals, teams and organisations who have breakthroughs in their long term dysfunctional patterns and relationships. When a new preferred culture is formed be it in a family or a workplace the possibilities become endless.
Abby is a strong supporter of enabling career progression for women in leadership and has also been a guest speaker at community events such as the ‘Making of Me’ (Lunch Box List) and the National Workers Compensation Summit 2010. As a working Mum, she recognises the importance of work-life balance and achieving meaningful outcomes in both her personal and professional life.
