Ben's 25-year career has been diverse in terms of both industries and roles. While it began with studies in architecture, his journey has included senior leadership roles across small businesses and multinationals and has spanned construction, sales, retail/wholesale, tourism, advertising and marketing, event management and branding.
From working for himself to working for others, his path has led to several years focusing on leadership, behavioural and organisational change and cultures.
In previous roles Ben consulted with utilities; a major airport; local, state and federal Government agencies; market-leading accounting firms, telcos and insurers; health and aged care providers; not-for-profit organisations within disability and community services; and, human capital leaders. He has worked with global mining and oil and gas giants, as well as mining services providers, commercial and residential construction companies, retail/wholesale and fast moving consumer goods' marketers and manufacturers.
At the turn of the century, Ben built his own boutique marketing agency and brand from the ground up, serving clients from start-ups to multinational companies throughout Australia and Asia-Pacific. He partnered with clients, gained understanding of their challenges, mentored key players and designed solutions to help them strategically improve their bottom lines.
The common thread has been Ben's enthusiasm to inspire, stay agile, continue to learn, innovate, find meaning, and, most importantly, be ‘The Best Dad in the World’ to his three awesome kids.
That direction now sees Ben at Veraison, where he continues to follow his desire to make a real and positive difference to the lives of others.
